Safety recalls

1 DVSA recall for the Daihatsu Fourtrak

Most cover a batch of cars built in a set period, and dealers fix them free. Sweep’s check shows the recalls for a car’s age and whether the DVSA has one outstanding.

R/2010/0069 Jun 2010Built 1985–2000Possible fire risk

It has been identified that a check valve within the fuel evaporative control system may develop a crack from long term use. In the worst case leakage of fuel evaporative gas vapour into the vehicle interior may occur resulting in the potential of fire in the presence of an ignition source.

Fix: Recalled vehicles will have the subject check valve replaced.
